Juniperus procumbens nana – 2 year old starter stock – 4kg bags

These are starter trees and no work was done on them.

Procumbens nana is an ideal plant for bonsai.

They naturally grow as a ground cover and need to be wired or staked to form an upright trunk.

Trey are very easy to bend when young, set quickly to new wire and with its compact growth and ability to bud back even onto old wood make them a good species for bonsai.

Procumbens nana got a compact needle growth.

They are ready for their first wire work and many different design options can be used.

You can also start to form deadwood features like Shari on the main trunk.

Please note – For shipping purposes trees will be watered, wrapped in clingwrap to protect the soil and protect against access moisture loss.  When you receive your tree remove it from its packaging, water well and place in a protected area for a few days before working the tree, gradually exposing the tree to more sunlight.

Due to the transport and the wrapping inside a dark container they will not be used to the direct sunlight and too much direct sunlight immediately will cause sunburn.

Do note the time of season and what you can safely do to the tree at that time if the year.
