Freaky Faces – Kids Projects
There are four faces available to choose from –

All parents are looking for educational projects to keep their kids busy while teaching them new skills and responsibilities, and at the same time learning how seeds grow.
Its also makes an ideal gift that can be sent via courier.
With Freaky Faces you can teach your child:
- Responsibility to water daily and care for their Freaky Face, keeping the hair (grass) growing.
- Process of growing the grass seeds – need water and good light.
- How to trim the hair on their Freaky Face
- Take lots of cool pictures
Method
- Submerge your Freaky Face in a bowl of water for 30 min to wet the growing medium
- Set your Freaky Face in a saucer.
- Place it in an area with good light.
- Mist the top of the head and the grass on a daily basis. Do not let it dry out.
- Within a few days you will see the first seeds growing through the top of the Freaky Face head
- Wait till the “hair” is long enough so that you can trim the “hair” (grass)
- When you have finished playing with the freaky face the contents inside the head can be added to the compost heap for recycling and the nylon stocking needs to be safely discarded in the rubbish bin.
Freaky faces are locally hand made products. They are made out of recycled nylon stockings filled with a growing medium and grass seeds, then decorated with different material faces.
Please note – decorations on the Freaky faces can differ from the photos. We use different types and color materials to give each face an individual appearance.
