Japanese Black Pine – Pinus thunbergii – Seedling plugs

We offer a limited stock of excess stock of Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) seedling plugs for sale.  The new growth have hardened and is ready for transplanting.

Do not do serious bends on these trees before April.  They are growing strong, and the cambium can easily tear if bend.  Trees are less then  1 year old.

They are produced from imported seeds.

These seedlings are ready to be used for development into:

For shipping purposes trees will be watered and placed in plastic bag to protect it against access moisture loss.  When you receive your tree remove it from its packaging, plant in suitable container, water well and place in a protected area for a few days before working the tree, gradually exposing the tree to more sunlight.

Due to the transport and the wrapping inside a dark container they will not be used to the direct sunlight and too much direct sunlight immediately will cause sunburn.

Do note the time of season and what you can safely do to the tree at that time if the year.
